Retail Associate (Part Time)

Job Brief
The Nashville Black Market is looking for a professional and responsible Retail Associate to
help carry out our retail store’s daily operations. Your role will play an important part in ensuring
the completion of administrative tasks, meeting of sales goals, overall efficiency, and customer
satisfaction.
Our ideal candidate will have excellent communication & customer relation ability - with strong
work ethic and excellent attention to detail.
Ultimately, the duties of the Retail Associate are to make sure our stores operate effectively,
and that we keep our customers happy.

Responsibilities
• Communicate with clients and evaluate their needs
• Analyze consumer behavior and adjust product positioning
• Maintain a clean, organized, and aesthetically pleasing store.
• Resolve customer complaints, questions, and concerns in a timely manner.
• Ensure that store policies and procedures are followed.
• Greet customers and offer quality graceful assistance.
• Providing customers with detailed product information and recommendations.
• Advising customers about member benefits, promotions, and sales.
• Totaling purchases and processing cash, check, and credit card payments.
• Processing exchanges, returns, and refunds according to company policies.
• Facilitate stock management and replenishing.

Requirements and Skills
• High School diploma or equivalent education
• Customer service-oriented
• Basic math skills
• Customer management and organizational abilities
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Problem-solving perspective
• Availability to work flexible shifts
• Hands-on experience with financial transactions
• Familiarity with inventory procedures
• A friendly and energetic personality with customer service focus
• Ability to perform under pressure and address complaints in a timely manner

Additional Details
Pay rate: $13 per hour
Hours per week: Up to 30 hours
Pay Frequency: Bi-weekly
Work Needed: Daytime and Evenings, Weekends
Paid Training: Yes
Store Open Hours: Monday - Saturday 10:00 am-6:00p.m. & Sunday 12:00pm-4:00pm
